In Cremona for the match? Here's how to reach the Zini stadium without missing a turn
Anyone who loves football knows: curves matter.
And even if there are few road curves, they will take you right there — to the curve that really interests you: the one in the Stadio Zini's away section.
From the center of Cremona to the stadium, the route is simple, linear and also scenic: among cobbled streets, elegant arcades, glimpses of medieval towers and the scent of coffee.
No complicated roads, no doubts at the crossroads: just a pleasant city walk... while waiting for the ball to drop.

A bit of Cremonese history
Cremonese, our glorious “grigiorossi” (grey and reds), was founded in 1903 in a city tavern—the perfect place to combine sporting passion and conviviality. After decades of waiting and lower leagues, the first return to Serie A came in the 1983–84 season. From then on, it's been an emotional roller coaster.
In the 1990s, under the guidance of Gigi Simoni, Cremo experienced its golden period: promotion to Serie A in 1992–93, a Anglo-Italian Cup won at Wembley, and three consecutive seasons in the top league, with two historic consecutive escapes from relegation. Not bad for a “small” team with a big heart.
More recently: promotion to Serie A in 2022, relegation the following year, a play-off final lost against Venezia... and finally, in June 2025, a 3-2 victory against Spezia that brought the team back among the greats.
And this year, an excellent transfer campaign, on paper, with a cherry on top: Jamie Vardy, former Leicester player and Premier League icon, has actually signed with Cremo. Official presentation, number 9 jersey, and the stadium in raptures. Cremona is ready.
The Giovanni Zini stadium
The Giovanni Zini Stadium, named after the Cremonese goalkeeper who fell in the Great War, was inaugurated on November 2, 1919. For a while, it was also known as the Motovelodromo, thanks to the cycling track added in 1922 and then dismantled after a violent cyclone in 1927. Today, it hosts around 16,000 spectators and is one of the city's most authentic sporting symbols.
