Cremona Half Marathon 2025: running among art, history and the Great River
On October 19, 2025, the HMC - Half Marathon Cremona, one of the most beloved running events in Lombardy and beyond, returns to Cremona. Now in its 24th edition, the Cremona Half Marathon is now an unmissable event for experienced runners, enthusiasts and amateurs who want to experience running in a unique setting: one of the most beautiful cities of art in Italy.
A path between art and nature
Since 2016, the HMC has been offering a revamped route, capable of combining sports emotions and artistic suggestions.
The first part winds through the heart of the city, providing unique glimpses of historic monuments and squares, with passages in front of the Ponchielli Theater, the Romanesque church of San Michele, the Tempietto di San Luca, and on to the charming Sant'Omobono alley. There is no lack of relationship with water: at the third kilometer the passage over the iron bridge over the Po, at the 16th the Morbasco, a reminder of the roots of a city that lives nestled between river and plain.
In the second part, the route opens up to the landscape: the countryside of the former Parmesan Forest and a breathtaking view of the Cremona skyline, with the Torrazzo accompanying runners to the finish line in Piazza del Comune, at the foot of Europe's tallest bell tower.

The CR10: a race for everyone
You don't have to be a marathoner to experience the magic of the Cremona Half Marathon.
Alongside the 21 km, there will also be CR10, a 10 km race open to all, with two versions this year:
Competitive (10 km)
Non-competitive (10.2 km)
Both follow the half-marathon route in the first part, sharing the first 10 km. At Rome Square, CR10 runners will cross the finish line, while 21 km participants will continue to Corso Mazzini and the rest of the route.
